Accessibility

Updated: August 14, 2025

CyberVPNHub is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

Need help or found an issue? Email info@cybervpnhub.com with the page URL, a brief description, and (if possible) screenshots or assistive tech used. We typically respond within 5 business days.

Our commitment

  • Provide equal access to content, comparisons, and tools.
  • Design and write in clear, simple language.
  • Respond promptly to accessibility feedback and fix issues.

Conformance status

We are working toward WCAG 2.2 AA conformance across all templates. Some pages may not yet fully meet all criteria. See “Known issues & roadmap” for current gaps we’re addressing.

Measures we take

  • Use semantic HTML (proper headings, lists, landmarks).
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
  • Maintain sufficient color contrast and visible focus states.
  • Ensure keyboard access for menus, accordions, tabs, and comparison tables.
  • Run periodic audits (axe DevTools/Lighthouse) and manual keyboard/screen-reader checks.

Key accessibility features

  • Skip link: “Skip to content” appears on focus for keyboard users.
  • Logical structure: One H1 per page; descriptive headings & link text.
  • Keyboard support: Navigation, TOC, accordions (<details>), and tables are keyboard-operable.
  • Tables: Comparison tables include headers, captions where helpful, and responsive stacks on small screens.
  • Media: Decorative images are marked with empty alt; informative images include meaningful alt.
  • Forms: Labels, error messages, and status updates are associated with inputs and announced where possible.

Browser & assistive tech compatibility

We aim to support current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) on desktop and mobile. We test with common screen readers (NVDA/Windows, VoiceOver/macOS & iOS, TalkBack/Android) and keyboard-only navigation.

Technical specifications

Accessibility relies on the following technologies to work with your browser and assistive technologies:

  • HTML5, WAI-ARIA (where appropriate), CSS, and JavaScript
  • WordPress theme templates using semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer)

Testing & monitoring

  • Manual checks: Keyboard-only nav, focus order, headings, link purpose, alt text.
  • Tooling: Lighthouse, axe DevTools, and browser dev tools for contrast and ARIA validation.
  • Cadence: Template audits quarterly; spot checks for new features before publishing.

Known issues & roadmap

We’re actively improving the following areas:

  • Third-party embeds/links: Some external offer pages and affiliate redirects may not fully meet WCAG. We provide descriptive link text and open in a new tab when appropriate.
  • Large comparison tables on small screens: We’re enhancing responsive table behavior and improving scope/headers attributes for better screen-reader output.
  • Icon-only buttons in older posts: We are adding aria-label or visible text.

Alternative formats

Need content in a different format (e.g., large print, plain-text, or PDF)? Email info@cybervpnhub.com with the page link and preferred format.
